10th Era New Horizons IFF

The biggest film festival in Poland

ERA New Horizons International Film Festival, est. 2001, is the biggest film festival in Poland and it is regarded as one of the most important film events in Central Europe. The festival presents uncompromising, innovative and original cinema from all over the world that explores new horizons in film language, expression and storytelling.

The festival has also a strong focus on music and contemporary art and organizes live music concerts every evening and art installations and performances throughout the city.

All films are screened with English and Polish subtitles.


Wroclaw - one of the biggest and most dynamic Polish cities (700.000 inhabitants) with great history and vibrant cultural and night-life. Easy to reach - in south-western Poland, only 180km from the German border.



The festival is committed to expanding its international presence and building long-term relationships with the world film industry professionals. More than 200 foreign film professionals visit our festival every year. The festival organizes a range of industry events, such as daily Happy Hours and industry lunches. In 2009, the festival held a very successful Polish-Swedish co-production forum for over 100 participants. This year we launch a new initiative - New Horizons Studio - workshops for young filmmakers.
